Hi, I’m Danna Pattinson, a Registered Clinical Counsellor in the Comox Valley. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection — one safe relationship, one person who truly sees you, can change everything. My approach is emotionally focused, attachment-based, and grounded in the understanding that our stories, families, and early experiences shape how we move through the world.
In therapy, I show up with warmth, curiosity, and a grounded presence. Together, we slow things down, explore the emotions under the surface, make sense of the patterns that keep showing up, and create space for new ways of being. I work with youth (12+) and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by stress, relationship challenges, trauma, or major life transitions.
At the core, my work is human. It’s relational. It’s emotional. It’s about sitting with you — exactly as you are — and helping you find clarity, compassion, and steadiness again. The pleasure is sincerely mine to walk alongside you.
